Then ASO Principal Bass Peter Paulsen will make a Paganini-like flourish in Bottesini’s Concerto for Double Bass No. 2. The program concludes with a spirited work by Schubert.

Be moved by the beautiful melodies of the String Quartet in Eb Major by Fanny Mendelssohn Hensel, sister of Felix Mendelsohn, along with works by, Florence Price, Grazyna Bacewicz, and Gabriela Lena Frank. This concert will be performed by string musicians comprised of all women from the Garden State Philharmonic.
Join ASO Composer in Residence Chris Rogerson and local composers in an informal evening of new music inspired by Art. Instrumentation for the concert will be: Flute, Clarinet, Violin, Cello, Piano.
