Then ASO Principal Bass Peter Paulsen will make a Paganini-like flourish in Bottesini’s Concerto for Double Bass No. 2. The program concludes with a spirited work by Schubert.

The Allentown Symphony, Music Director, Diane Wittry, with Composer in Residence Chris Rogerson, and special guest composers will work with composers in a three day seminar.
Join Diane Wittry and Anna Edwards in a week long Conducting Workshop. August 2-7, 2021. Discussion topics will include Conducting Technique, Programming, Score Study, Applying for Jobs, and Leadership Skills, as well as other topics. Repertoire to be announced soon.
