The III International Symposium for Women Conductors is proud to announce the special participation of Maestro DIANE WITTRY as a featured guest speaker for the 2020 Symposium. Wittry is currently the Music Director and Conductor of both the Allentown Symphony Orchestra in Pennsylvania, and the Music Director and Conductor of the Garden State Philharmonic in New Jersey (since 2018). Her session on her famous book “Beyond the Baton” will take place on Thursday 17th September, 12:00 to 13:00 in Montevideo, São Paulo and Buenos Aires, and 11:00am to 12:00pm in New York.
The III INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM WOMEN CONDUCTORS main objectives are to promote working groups that develop actions to implement cultural policies for female inclusion in music, and to elaborate a Manifesto that promotes equal opportunities for women in music.
